This page is constantly under construction, but it's perpetually becoming the repository for everything I've ever written.
I've added/am adding "Glimpses" which are my own exercises in pure story telling. It's unlike a short story, in that there's no real beginning or ending. It could start at the beginning, or the beginning of the end, there's no rule. It's more like a couple pages out of the middle of a full novel.
Note: Stay tuned to the RSS feed on the main page. It's not just for telling you about blog posts anymore. I'm "regularly" posting chapters to Bounds of Freedom, the first half of the epic fantasy I'm working on. I've completed 50,000 words, and as I continue writing, I'll be posting one chapter at a time pseudo-monthly. I've created an entirely new page for it, so check it out here. Enjoy!
An introduction to the story
This is the next story on my list of priorities. As soon as I finish the one I'm doing, I'm going to immediately start on this. Just you wait.
The prophecy is fulfilled
This is from the same world as "Dungeon" but it takes place thousands of years earlier. It's higher on my list of priorities to write, but it is my "epic" so it's going to take forever.
Torture scene without the torture
This is a scene from the series of stories I've been working on for the longest. All sorts of political stuff going on.
A minor battle with the undead
An unreal story filled with unreal characters. Meh. It could become something better if I ever get around to it. Right now, though, it's very, very low on my list of priorities.
A short glimpse into a young girl's nightmare
Have you ever had those nightmares that you just can't seem to wake up from? Even though you know it's a dream, it still somehow has control over you?
(Side note: the antagonist is a character from my main project I'm working on.)
Enjoy the explicatey ontological goodness!!
This is a short explication I wrote for a critical analysis class on an excerpt from Plato's Republic.
It was a slightly lit and moderately windy night...
This is a ghost story I told when I was camping with my ex-girlfriend and her family one Labor Day. Apparently, I even scared some of the adults so bad they couldn't sleep...
If at first you don't offend, try, try again.
This is from when I worked at a payday advance store. It's a letter a co-worker of mine wrote to another co-worker regarding the visual state of the tellers at a specific branch of a specific bank.
